Today I would like to spotlight this lens:

Long before the secret or powerful intentions I was doing affirmations. I started doing them in my teenage years after delving into metaphysical books around the age of 14. I read up on Edgar Cayce, Shirley Maclaine’s books and Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra. I also dabbled with Dick Sutphen and Jonathan Livingstone Seagull and books along that line.

Did affirmations work?

I think they did and still do. Mostly they do, sometimes they do not. When they do not I accept that their is a reason or a block to it’s fruition.

Affirmations I said when I was younger were:

I am happy, healthy and radiant

One fun thing I like to do is to write a list at the beginning of the year and look at it at the end of the year to see what manifested.

Usually about 80% manifests…

So, my take on powerful intentions is that yes for the most part it does work.
